What a wonderful week we have had at school this week. We learnt more about addition, continued to focus on report writing and had a fantastic trip to Hans Andersson's Recycling on Thursday. This was an extremely powerful learning experience which allowed students to connect what they are personally doing in regards to recycling to the bigger picture. We thank Victoria's (4D) father for allowing us to have a tour, as this is not something they normally do.
We have already heard some ideas from the students about how they have taken action (the final stage in the inquiry cycle), to improve their approach to conserving our planet and would also love for you to keep an ear out at home to see if your child is taking action outside of school.
Next week we have 'Culture Week' and will be doing a range of activities at school regarding this. We hope to have another successful week of school next week before our Autumn break.
